Faye & Friends: Book One, Our Anthem
We call Faye & Friends Book One, but that doesn’t mean there is only one right place to begin.
You can start here. You can discover it after you’ve already met Faye beneath another moon. You can return to it whenever your family needs a little reminder of what the Full Moon Fairy tradition is really about.
Because unlike the monthly books that follow, Faye & Friends isn’t driven by one particular adventure or problem to solve. This is our anthem.
It introduces the world of the Full Moon Fairy and the spirit behind the tradition: looking up, slowing down, reading together, noticing small wonders, and leaving room for a little more imagination in childhood. It is less about what happens next and more about filling the room with awe, wonder, and possibility.
And, perhaps most importantly, it reminds us that there is no single way to do any of this.
Maybe Faye leaves something behind while your child sleeps. Maybe your child knows it was you all along. Maybe you follow every full moon faithfully, and maybe some months life gets busy and you simply pick the tradition back up when you’re ready.

A little sparrow, with a little literary history
The optional companion trinket for Faye & Friends is a small wooden sparrow, inspired by one of our favorite lines in the book.
We won’t give the moment away, but when you find it, you may recognize a little nod to the Bard himself, William Shakespeare. It felt only fitting that this story about wonder, noticing, and meaning should have a companion inspired by something so small and easy to overlook.
The wooden sparrow is not included automatically with the book or subscription. It can be added separately if you’d like to include the companion trinket as part of your Faye & Friends experience.

When you begin a Full Moon Fairy Subscription, Faye & Friends and the Moon & Stars Garland are included complimentary, even if you choose to opt out of monthly trinkets.
They’re our way of welcoming you into the tradition and giving you something you can begin with right away, even if your first monthly moon book is still waiting for its corresponding full moon.
If you purchase Faye & Friends individually, you are purchasing the hardcover book only.
The Moon & Stars Garland is complimentary with the subscription and is not included with an individual book purchase. The wooden sparrow is also separate and can be added on if you choose.
